Are women allowed to wear lash extensions in the military? This is a frequently asked question, as many women in the military are interested in wearing lash extensions. But before deciding to get eyelash extensions, it’s important to know what the rules are for each branch of the military.
Are Eyelash Extensions Allowed In The Army?
In general, eyelash extensions are allowed in the Army as long as they meet certain criteria. Soldiers must have written consent from their commanding officer before they can apply eyelash extensions. They also must be applied by a licensed cosmetologist who has been trained in applying classic or volume lashes and has graduated from an accredited cosmetology school. Additionally, soldiers may only wear natural lashes; synthetic lashes or any other type of artificial lash enhancement is prohibited.
Are Eyelash Extensions Allowed In The Navy?
The Navy has similar regulations regarding eyelash extension use as those for the Army; however, there are some additional restrictions that sailors must follow when wearing lash extensions on duty or during physical training activities such as running or swimming. Lash sets must be limited to no more than two layers of lashes per eye, and only natural hair should be used for the application process. Additionally, full sets with multiple rows of lashes may not be worn while performing any official duties outside of regular duties such as drill practice or physical fitness tests.
Are Eyelash Extensions Allowed In The Air Force?
The Air Force also follows similar guidelines when it comes to wearing lash extensions while on duty; however, there is one major difference: Air Force personnel are not permitted to wear any kind of makeup while on duty except for foundation and mascara (which must match their skin tone). Additionally, all makeup products used by airmen must meet USAF standards and cannot contain any oil-based ingredients that could interfere with the proper operation of equipment if accidentally transferred onto it during service hours. This includes all types of false eyelashes, including strip lashes, individual clusters, and permanent false lash systems like semi-permanent eyelashes (lash lifts).
Overall, women serving in all branches of the military are able to wear lash extensions as long as they abide by strict guidelines set forth by each branch’s respective regulations governing appearance standards while on duty and/or participating in physical training activities such as running or swimming drills, etc.
