Why your eyelash extensions drooping down?

If lash extensions are not applied correctly, or if the wrong products are used, they can end up looking droopy and sad.

Reasons why your eyelash extensions looks droopy

There are several possible reasons why your eyelash extensions may be drooping down. Let’s take a look at each one in turn:

Going too far in outer corner

One of the most common causes of drooping eyelashes is when the lash technician goes too far out with the extension application in the outer corners of the eye. This can cause an imbalance that leads to lashes pointing downward instead of upward. To avoid this issue, make sure to tell your lash technician not to go too far out on either side when applying extensions.

Wrong curl was used

Another common cause of drooping eyelashes is using an incorrect curl for your particular eye shape and/or natural lashes. If you have hooded eyes, for example, then using a B-curl extension will likely lead to them pointing downwards instead of upwards due to gravity pulling them down towards the skin beneath your eyes. It’s best to consult with a qualified lash technician who can advise you on which type of curl would work best for you based on both your eye shape and natural lash length and thickness.

Lash extensions are too much heavy

If too many lash extensions are applied per eye or if they are simply too long or heavy for your natural lashes, this could also lead to them appearing droopy after just a few hours or days post-application. The best way to address this issue is by discussing with your lash technician how many lashes should be applied per eye and what length would be suitable based on the factors mentioned above (i.e., eye shape and natural lashes). Once these parameters have been established, it’s important that they adhere to those guidelines when applying new sets so that there won’t be any issues afterwards like premature shedding or sagging/drooping due to excessive weight being placed upon them from long/heavy lashes being applied without proper consideration.
